A beautifully restored 12th Century farmhouse, set amidst 28 acres of gardens, terraced lawn and woodlands. The Locanda sits atop the magnificent hills of Umbria's unspoiled Italian countryside, making this the ideal place to retreat, discover, and revitalize your spirit.

What you can expect from your yoga holiday...

Swim in the breathtaking infinity pool or bathe in the whirlpool hot tub overlooking vast olive groves. Let your tensions slip away in the fabulous luxury spa and steam room. Savour world-class gourmet organic food full of authentic Italian flavours prepared with vegetables straight from the garden.

Stunning unspoiled location...

The views and vistas from every corner of the gorgeous grounds are truly mindblowing. Totally unspoiled countryside and verdant hills, streams, rivers and waterfalls surround the property, just tempting you to explore. You can walk for hours in profound beauty without seeing another person. Though you may, if you're lucky encounter deer.

You can equally lose yourself within the gardens. Picture walls of stone aged by the centuries, gardens of manicured lawns and olive trees, hidden nooks and crannies with deep cushioned daybeds and hammocks, and the scent of lavender and rosemary filling the air.

Add a fabulous terrace bathed in sunlight. Aperitifs sipped on a verandah watching the setting sun. Candle-lit dinners, and calm nights under a star filled sky.

You may choose never want to leave the grounds, but if you do, all around, just beyond a crown of hills, stand Umbria's many cities of art, abundant in their treasures, their elegant streets and traditions. So near, so far away...
